Oracle Developer (Database Developer)

Job Responsiblities:

Oracle9i/10g database development
Understand business requirements from client or onsite consultants
Write Ad hoc queries and stored procedures (PL*SQL) per requirements
Optimally design the database, performance tune database queries
Deliver to dynamically changing project needs
Troubleshoot production environment issues
Identify, analyze, and respond to project risks
Operate under deadlines and multiple project responsibility

Experience: 3-8 Years

Expert Knowledge in Areas (Mandatory):

Oracle 9i/10g, SQL*Plus, PL/SQL, SQL Loader
Data Analysis skills
Troubleshooting
Excellent communication skills (writing, verbal)
Complete SDLC know-how & documentation
Formal training and real world experience in database development
Ability to work as part of multi-location project teams

Working Knowledge in areas (added advantage/optional):

Data warehouse and Business Intelligence exposure
Experience in Microsoft SQL Server a big plus
Experience in Sybase
Experience in Unix/Linux Shell Scripting
Advanced Microsoft Excel

Education: BSc/BE/MCA/MBA/CA

Designation: Oracle Developer (Database Developer)

Salary: Commensurate to experience

Location: Mumbai, India

Required to Travel Abroad: Potentially for short durations
