Trainee/Senior/Lead IT Administrator
Job Responsibilities:
- Plan, Prioritize, Estimate & Deliver IT related tasks
- Responsible for information security of the organization
- Ensure upkeep & smooth functioning of the premises & various equipment, office facilities etc
- Optimal and honest vendor selection, management & performance monitoring
- Maintain suitable, industry standard SLA’s with all vendors, suppliers & partners
- Bring Proactive, preventive approach in these functions
- Capacity planning of all resources (other than people) and infrastructure
- Asset Management, inventory, maintain warranties etc.
- Play hands-on role on IT tasks, troubleshoot IT related concerns
- Must have hands on knowledge on installing & configuring new hardware / softwares
- Establish and maintain best practices through suitable processes and tools.
- Evaluate and make recommendations on new methodologies or implementation strategies.
- Setting-up branch office & ensuring the maintenance of servers, network, firewall, internet connection etc.
- Maintain security and integrity controls of the Operating System
- Document each task & create policies suitable for the company & to carry out its functions smoothly
- Time & Again maintain up gradation of all systems, servers in use
- Resolve incidents affecting the operation/availability of high profile production systems
- Analyze system performance indicators and recommend improvement actions
- Manage & lead IT functions
- Provide guidance, specific directions to the team members
- Motivate , mentor & retain team members
Experience: 0 - 9 Years (No of Openings – 3)
Key Skills:
- Window System Administrator with experience in Patch management, Virtual servers, Basis IT Administrations, Backup and Restore etc…
Expert Knowledge in Areas (Mandatory):
- Good Communication skills
- System (Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, GPO, EPO Server, Smooth wall, Macintosh)
- Networking (Cisco router, Wireless)
- Security (Sonic wall firewall )
- Applications (VoIP System (PBXnSIP), Hyper-V, View Point, SysAid, Time Track, MDT (Microsoft Deployment Tool), FTP, SMTP Symantec Backup Exec, WSUS, IIS, Apache)
- Others (Network and System monitoring, IT Auditing, Server Hardening, Configuring hardware RAID, Backup and Restore)
- Services (Microsoft Online Services)
- Windows System Administration (Windows server 2003/2008)
Working Knowledge in areas (added advantage/optional):
- SharePoint 2007/2010 Administration,
- SQL Administration,
- Project Server,
- SCOM,
- TFS,
- IBM CQ and Requisite Pro,
- VLAN configuration,
